A reducer is a kind of pipe fitting used in process piping that reduces the pipe size from a bigger bore to a smaller bore (inner diameter). A reducer allows for a modify in pipe size to reach the hydraulic flow requirements of the system or to adapt to existing piping of a different size. The length of the reduction is generally equal to the average of the bigger and smaller pipe diameters. Reducers are two types of available Eccentric and concentric .

COUPLING

Full coupling fittings can be either threaded or socket ends types. A Socket Weld is a type of pipe Fitting or attachment detail in which a pipe can be inserted into the recessed area of either a valve, another fitting or a flange. Besides being used for applications which have small bores, these socket weld full coupling can also be used in low-pressure piping systems.

NIPPLE

A Pipe Nipple is a short pipe (12 inches or less), with small opening which provides way for the liquids or gases to pass through the pipe. It has a ale thread on each end and is used for extension form a fitting. Used in fluid application to connect two fittings with each other. Used in plumbing system or for ceiling and wall supports and extensions. Used for ceiling or wall supports.
